9 months

Happy 9 months, Reese!
(only 9 days left in Reese's 9th month...and I'm just now getting this post written...
Well, better late than never, right?)

Reese has had another big month! He's hit a few new milestones...
- Waves bye-bye. With his arm stretched out and palm facing him, he open and closes his fist.
- 1st taste of "table food" (non-baby food). He can now easily eat pieces of wheat bread, shredded mozzarella cheese, little slices of banana, and Kraft macaroni & cheese, one noodle at a time!

9 month stats:
Weight: 23 lbs (91%)
Height: 28.5" (50%...he only grew 1" since 6 months)
Head: 19.25"  (99%)
Everything looks great!

Here's his 9 month pajamas picture. It took a few tries to get a good one!

He loves to pull up on everything now and he can slowly cruise around the furniture too. He really likes the kitchen set because there are all of those knobs on the front, a bunch on toys on top to hit, and doors to open. He also likes to chew on everything, so I have to keep a close eye on what he's doing and what sort of things are in his reach (crayons cannot be left on the coffee table anymore!).

Here he is playing "Where's Reese?". Instead of putting his hands over his eyes, he puts them on the sides of his head and waits for you to say "There he is!". He then drops his hands and smiles and laughs:) Love that boy!
Reese is also currently half way through a 10 day treatment for another ear infection. This is #4 for him. Poor guy. For about the first 4 or 5 days, we thought he just had a cold.  I didn't think he had an ear infection because he just had a clear, on-again-off-again runny nose and a wet-sounding cough. No fever. No ear pulling. Acted totally normal. But, he eventually started drinking less of his bottle and he started waking up in the night, so Wade and I decided to take him to the doctor...and, lo and behold, he had a bad infection in his right ear. The medicine is working really well and, fingers crossed, he hasn't had an allergic reaction to it. Hope this will be his fourth and final ear infection!

Ok...10 month post coming soon! Promise.
