It's coming up on 12 noon today and it's already 95 degrees. The high today is 102, seriously. The thought of going outside to play hasn't even entered my mind.
To pass the time, we play inside with baby dolls a lot. Avery loves walking around with a cup and spoon and feeding anything she can find...dolls, stuffed animals, pictures of people (or animals) on book covers, me, Wade, herself...she's a busy little lady. Once the temperature dips a little, we try to go outside and make the most of the few remaining minutes left in the day before bed.
Lately, that time has mostly consisted of taking a wagon ride to get the mail. Avery loves it.
She's getting so tall!
For July 4th, we were invited over to a friend's lake house for a potluck dinner. We were the only non-family members there, but we still had a great time!
Avery went dressed as "Miss America" (her outfit looked more like a track suit than anything else) and we had a lot of fun...
