It's a 10!

Avery is 10 months old and her 1st birthday is quickly approaching! She has been so much fun lately, especially now that her nasty ear infections are all cleared up, and Wade and I have been really enjoying our sweet little girl!

Here's what she's up to now...

- Eating finger foods! She likes puffs and pieces of cut up pears, bananas, and avocados. Soon, I'm going to try cheese, homemade meats (the jarred ones don't seem so appealing), egg yolks, and cottage cheese. Wish me luck!

- Climbing up the stairs. We have 7 stairs, then a landing, then 7 more stairs...and she loves to crawl up half way...stop to look out the window and "talk" to the outside world...then crawl on up to the upstairs! She likes to be "chased" too and squeals and laughs when you're about to catch her! Her other favorite games are Pat A Cake and Peek A Boo.

- She pulls up to standing on nearly everything...even just the flat wall.

- She loves to talk! "Da Da" and "Doh" are her main words. She also like to make the motorboat sound with her lips. Spit flies everywhere:) There is a video of her talking to us at the bottom of this post.

- She now sleeps 11-12 hours each night! Whoo hoo! She goes to bed around 7:30 pm and wakes up around 6:30-7:30 am.

- She is getting her 5th tooth. She has 2 on the bottom and is getting her 3rd on the top (next to her left front tooth).

- She loves to point at stuff...the ceiling fan, pictures in a book, the TV, anything...

Well, that's about it! I'm so thankful she is happy and, finally, all healthy. What a blessing!

Here's her 10 month pajamas picture...it's getting harder and harder for her to sit still in her bouncy chair and she is approaching the chair's weight limit too...
